In 2012, Todd McFarlane and Neil Gaiman settled their dispute,and Neil Gaiman was given full ownership of Angela.

AngelaはMARVEL COMICSにて再登場する際に新たにキャラクター設定がされました。
本名は"Aldrif Odinsdottir" Asgardの王Odinの娘にして、「The Mighty Thor」で有名なThorとLokiの妹という設定です。
MARVEL COMICSでは同じキャラクターでもUnverseが違うと設定が変わってきます。
AngelaがいるUniverseは"EARTH-616"となっています。
AsgardということでAngelaは北欧の神々が住む世界の住人であるわけですが、 OdinとThe Angel Queenとの紛争のなかで、産まれたばかりのAldrifは天界の都 HEVENに連れていかれ、自分の素性を知らぬままAngelaと名付けられて育てられました。
この設定はキャラクターブック　"AVENGERS NOW!"にて紹介されています。
「Age of Ultron」のスピンオフに当たる「Guardians of the Galaxy」 vol.３ #５にて登場したAngelaはガーディアンズと行動を共にします。

 「Damn You.Peter Quill!!」　地球の外周にあるソーラー・システム付近にいたGamoraは一人、毒づいていた。、
GamoraはPeterがThanosと決着を付けてきたと思っていた。GamoraにとってPeterの存在は、何も信じることが出来なくなっていた自分が唯一信じられるものだった。「地球などどうなってもいい。人間などどうなってもいい」　Gamoraはどうしても"eterを許すことが出来なかった。
一方、Peter達は敵に囲まれて危ないところをAngelaに助けられたが、敵の攻撃はまだ続いていた。
Abigal BrandはAvengersが地球に帰還できるように「地球の防御シールドを弱める必要がある。」と言い、コントロール・ルームに向かうことを提案する。Peter達はそれに従い、コントロール・ルームへと向かった。
Angelaは宇宙空間で敵の攻撃を受けており、敵の銃口がAngelaに向けられていた。その窮地を救ったのはDraxとGrootだった。
コントロール・ルームに到着したAbigal Brand達は通信システムでAvengersに呼びかけていた。だがコントロール・ルームにも敵が攻め込んでくる。必死に応戦するPeter達の元にCaptain Marvelから「自分たちの宇宙船が無事に地球に到着するために、防御シールドを開けて欲しい」との通信が届いた。PeterがAbigal Brandが指示したボタンを押すとCaptain Marvelから無事、地球に向かうことができたとの連絡を受ける。
無事にシールドを開けることに成功したPeter達だったが、更なる敵の軍勢が登場し、窮地に陥った。だがその時、敵を撃ち払うような爆発が起こり、爆発の煙の中から姿を現したのはGamoraだった。
Peter達はDrax達に船に戻るように伝え、宇宙基地を自爆させた。基地の周辺を取り囲んでいた敵の艦隊はその爆発に飲み込まれて沈んでいった。

Thanos has invaded Earth. His ragtag armada has surrounded the planet. The Avengers and the rest of Earth's heroes have either fallen or are trpped behind enemy lines.
The Guardians intercepted a message from Abigail Brand, Director Of S.W.O.R.D., asking them to rescue her. She feared that her orbiting space station THE PEAK would be used against the Earth.
Gamora, already not trusting Peter Quill, turned her back on the Guardians, fearing that this was all trap set by Thanos.
The Guardians rescued Abigail Brand and attempted to take down the Peak's Earth defense shields so the Avengers could get back to Earth, but they found themselves surrounded by Thanos' elite squad. Before they could be executed though, the mysterious powerhouse Angela crashed into the spaace station.

AngelaとGamoraはThanosの軍勢によって占領された惑星で共に戦っていた。最初の出会いは最悪であった二人だったが、互いに友情を感じるようになっていた。
Angelaは敵の戦艦に一人で乗り込み、敵兵たちを倒していく。そして最後に残った司令官に、宇宙船を着陸させて囚人となった人々を彼らの星に帰すのを手伝うように命令する。Angelaのことを地球人と勘違いした司令官は意味ありげなことを口走ってしまう。だが司令官はAngelaが地球人ではないことを知ると間違いを訂正するが、Angelaは天使たちのことで何か知っているのかと更に問い詰める。
やがて現れたPeterにAngelaはこの地に残ると告げる。PeterにもAngelaが思い違いをしていることが分かっていた。 「俺たちは君が自分の故郷へ戻れる方法を探していくつもりだ。たがここには答えはないんだ。君は今日、とても良いことをした。多くの人々を救ったんだ。」
そう、Peterが告げるとAngelaは「でも、私たちはThanosを見つけることは出来なかったよ。」と答えた。

Jean GreyはX-Menのメンバーであり、Marvel Girlとして有名です。宇宙ステーションにてX-MENのメンバーと一緒に戦いを続けているなかで放射線中毒で一度は死亡したジーンでしたが、Phoenix Forceとして知られている宇宙生命体によって救われます。ただしMastermindの精神操作によってPhoenixは狂気に至り、Dark Phoenixとして変貌しました。閉じ込められたジーンの意識の一部が蘇った際に、彼女を死を選びます。そういったジーンに対して、さまざまな立場の者たちが彼女をどうするかを考える。そういった内容のシリーズになります。AngelaはGuardian of the Galaxyのメンバーの一人としてこの物語に関わっていきます。

In the cafeteria of the New Charles Xavier School Jean and the young Cyclops have an argument as they have been through a lot and find it difficult to process.
Without a warning the school is attacked by Shi'ar. The X-Men defend themselves but Jean ends up getting kidnapped. Kitty is confused as the Shi'ar are supposed to be their allies. Then the Guardians of the Galaxy show up and Star-Lord realizes out loud that they have come too late.

But a group of mutants known as The X-men fight for peaceful coexistence between mutants and humankind. But not all mutants see peaceful coexistence as a reality.

The original X-men were brought to the present in an effect to help show the present day X-men how far they have strayed from Xavier’s dream. After learning of their future. The original X-men found themselves in conflict with one another as they tried to come to grips with what their destiny will bring. This especially affected Jean Grey and Cyclops as they learned of their future together and Jean’s subsequent deaths.

Although they have attempted to return to their own time. They discovered that they are. In fact, stuck in the present. Recently moving from Wolverine’s Jean Grey school to present day Cyclops’s New Xavier school. They have been joined by The Newly Rescued X-23. Yet, this new home may not be as safe and secure as they have been led to believe.

Thanos’ army came very close to taking the planet earth but the Guardians helped save the planet. The Mad Titan has disappered.
Synopsis for "Trial of Jean Grey: Part 2 of 6"
In a bar in Knowhere Peter Quill is approached by Gamora and they talk about the fact that Peters father has his army looking for Thanos instead of for his son. Star-Lord realizes however that he is talking to a Skrull who reveals that his father now has every available headhunter looking for him.
Meanwhile the galactic council discusses what the presence of the young Jean Grey from the past means. Gladiator announces that the Shi'ar are going to put her on a trial for crimes her future self has done.
Meanwhile Drax, Rocket and Groot communicate with Tony Stark who is back on Earth and abstains from going to space any time soon again. At the same time Gamora and Angela save Star-Lord from being kidnapped by the Skrull as Angela beheads her. As the Guardians receive the news of Jean Greys reappearance and detect an alien ship close to Earth, they head there themselvese. As they arrive, however, they realize that they have come to late and Jean Grey has already been kidnapped.

とある酒場にてPeter as Star Lordが酒を飲んでいるとGamoraが現れる。

その頃、King J-son達はシーアー帝国(Shi'ar Empire)のKallarkに招集されていた。

街ではGamoraとAngelaが武器屋を覗いていた。そこで、気絶しているPeterを抱えて運ぶ偽のGamoraを見つける。偽のGamoraは見つかったことに気づき銃を抜くが、Angelaの剣のほうが素早く、敵の首を掻き切った。

Peterを救って宇宙船に戻ったGamoraとAngelaをRocket Baccoonが待ち構えていた。Rocket BaccoonはBadoonの通信を解析していたのだった。彼が皆に聞かせた通信では、「シーアー帝国(Shi'ar Empire)のThe Gladiator(as Kallark)がJean Greyを探している。」とのことだった。
シーアー帝国より先にJean Greyを見つけるためにPeterは宇宙船を地球へと向かわせる。そしてガーディアンズ一行はカナダに到着した。

BadoonはGUARDIANS OF THE GALAXYの初期メンバーが戦った宇宙種族であり、Gamoraに変身してPeterを誘拐しようとしていたのもBadoonだった。

Young Cyclops wakes up onboard the ship of the Guardians of the Galaxy who have teamed up with X-Men to get Jean Grey back from the Shi'ar.
Meanwhile Jean wakes up on a Shi'ar ship and is told by Gladiator that she is soon to be put on trial, yet she is not told her crimes until Oracle, a Shi'ar telepath, communicates with her. She reveals to Jean that she is accused of murdering a world with the power of the Phoenix.
In the meantime the Guardians and X-Men have been found and are attacked by the Shi'ar. They are soon assisted by the Starjammers, led by Cyclops' father Corsair (Christopher Summers), whom he had believed to be dead.

Synopsis for "Trial of Jean Grey: Part 4 of 6"
Cyclops reunites with his father onboard the Guardians' ship. He learns that his father has been alive for long and has made peace with the older Cyclops and his brother. As it is all a bit too much for him to deal with he retreats himself for a moment with the comfort of Laura. As the Guardians, X-Men and Starjammers arrive at the center of the Shi'ar empire, they are being awaited by an entire fleet.
Meanwhile Jason of Spartax is informed about Jean Greys kidnapping and he decides that he has to interfere.
At the same time Oracle tells Gladiator that his decision to abduct Jean has most likely started a war with the X-Men and it is going to have unpredictable consequenzes. Later Oracle prepares Jean for her trial and reveals that she is going to represent the young mutant. Then, in front of a big audience Jean is shown footage of her old self eradicating an entire solar system.

When other parts of the galaxy hears of the original X-men (Cyclops, Angel, Iceman, the Beast and Jean Grey) now living in this time period, the Shi’ar decided Jean Grey needs to be held in judgment over her past actions as the Phoenix.

The Shi’ar sent a team to battle the X-men and took Jean Grey and put her on trial. The Guardians of the Galaxy discover this was is happening. Though too late to stop it, they grabbed the X-men and took them to help rescue Jean.

Jason of Spartax interferes with the trial of Jean Grey as she has nothing to do with the actions of the Phoenix while Gladiator is guilty of kidnapping and holding her against her will. It is during this argument that Jean learns that her whole family has been killed by a troop of Shi'ar. The trial is then disjointed for the time being. Jean then succeeds in putting the Imperial Guard to sleep and begins to flee.
Meanwhile the X-Men, Guardians and Starjammers use Angela as bait. As she pretends to be unconscious she is retrieved onboard the Shi'ar where she defeats the ships crew. The teams then pretend to ship Angela as an unknown life form to the Shi'ar empire to get there safely. As they land they are greeted by Gladiator and his Imperial Guard. They begin to fight but are interrupted by Jean, who just arrived at the scene, declaring that she is in fact guilty.

Jean states that everything the Phoenix has done is her fault and she can not stop it. However, none of the people present could stop it either and the thought of how Gladiator had her whole family killed fills her with rage and she attacks him with new-found abilities. She absorbs and emits the psy-energy of people surrounding her, she combines her telekinesis with her telepathy. She fights against Gladiator but Oracle declares the fight to be over. Cyclops announces that they are going home and the Guardians state that the Earth is under their protection.
Back on Earth, Star-Lord gives Kitty a device to communicate with him, flirting with her. Cyclops then explains his teammates that he is going to leave to spend some time with his father, whom he thought to be dead until two days ago and drives off into space.

The Starjammers and Guardians made it to the Shi’ar homeworld and were confronted by the Imperial Guard… But Jean Grey appeared to give herself up.

Thor is from Asgard, one the nine realms(of which Earth — or, as Asgardians refer to it, Midgard — is also one). He is the son of Odin — The former ruler of Asgard, currently M.I.A. — and Freyia — the current ruler of Asgard. Thor also has an adopted brother named Loki.

Loki, as the trickster god, has more often than not found himself cast in the role of villaain. But recently he has been trying to break free of that role and make his owndestiny. This plan has been thwarted, however, by the arrival of a future ver sion of Loki, evil as ever, whose very existence seemingly dooms the the trickster god to a life of villainy. What’s worse, Freyja — Loki’s own foster-mother — is colluding with “Old Loki” to secure a bright future for asgard at his younger self’s expense.

So things among the royal family of Asgard have been a little rocky of late. And now comes a revelation that may potentially rip them apart entirely…

"Original Sin"は特別版なども出版されるなかで8巻にて完結しますが、このなかで5巻の派生ストーリーとして#5.1～#5.5がAngelaの真実を描くパートとして出版されました。

Original Sin #7 Plot
As I said earlier,, this issue didn’t really have a whole lot going on besides setting up next issue’s big finale. The issue opens with a flashback with Dr. Midas, Exterminatrix and the Orb, and honestly I still don’t really care about any of them outside of the Orb. Sadly I think they may play a large role in the next issue. After that quick flashback we return to the fighting between Nick Fury and the Avengers (for no reason). Other than the Avengers being a little mad and Nick Fury deciding not to talk (which seemed to be all he wanted to do in the last two issues). We then get an issue full of seeding Marvel’s fall books (female Thor in particular) and confusing flashbacks that cut away before anything happens. Then we get our final page reveal, which is spoiled on the cover of the next issue.

Off in an unknown place, two mysterious individuals play a game of Viking Chess, while Thor is still imprisoned by the Angels and Loki. Loki promises to rain destruction upon Asgard and the Angel Queen gives Loki her army. Loki leads the army to Asgard and as Master of Strategies, sacrifices all of the angels, by crashing all of their vessels into the protective dome around Asgard. Loki then kills the remaining angel and enters Asgard where he finds Odin, playing Viking Chess with most likely his brother, the Serpent. In the Tenth Realm, Thor has used his abilities to summon a massive storm, unlike anything the angels have seen and frees both himself and his hammer!

During an investigation into the Watcher's murder, Thor inadvertently learned two things: There is a tenth realm, and he has a sister! Long ago, a war between Asgard and the angels of the tenth realm came to an end when the Queen of angels killed Odin and Freyja’s infant daughter and, in response, Odin banished the tenth realm from all known existence.

But Thor and Loki have traveled to the tenth realm to learn more. Once these, Thor was taken prisoner by the tenth realm's Fiercest warrior., Angela; and Loki seemingly betrayed his brother by becoming the Queen of angel's new mistress of strategies and leading a fleet of warships to attack Asgard.

However, Thor soon broke free using something the angels of the tenth realm proved vulnerable to -- Lightning. And Loki revealed herself to be a devil in angel's clothing when she destroyed the tenth realm's fleet and sought out the real reason she went to Asgard: To retrieve Odin, The all-father!

Angela is a warrior without a home.

While Odinson may have given Thor his name, He hasn’t give up on discovering what her true name is, and Odin the all-father hasn’t either. Offended at this affront to his ownipotence, the all-father has called his brother Cul Borson into service to pilot the fearsome asgardian weapon known as the destroyer. Now, the Destroyer and Thor must go head-to-head on Roxxon island.

Angela revealed that the baby is cursed with the power of SURTUR, and that the only option was to sneak in and use the furnace of Heven to Siphon the Evil out of her. But their intrusion was immediately discovered, plunging Asgard and Heven into battle. Thor(now going by Odinson) was sent in to recover the baby, But when he and Angela fought, He realized she had the best interest of the baby in mind --Until Angela tossed their sister straight into the depths of the furnace!

だが、セラはアンジェラとの旅を続ける中で命を落とし、その身柄はヘラの隔離された刑務所に入れられていた。幽閉されていたセラの元にダークエルフであるMalekith(マレキス)が訪れる。マレキスはセラからオーディンを貶める危険性がある情報を聞き出す代わりに、自らの身体を器としてセラに提供することを持ち掛ける。セラの精神はまだヘルに閉じ込められていたが、マレキスとの取引を経て外界へと戻ってくることができ、アンジェラとの再会は果たした。
セラに再び出会うことが出来たアンジェラは、セラに仄めかされてOdin(オーディン)とFrigga(フリッガ)の生まれたばかりの娘Laussa(ラウッサ)を誘拐した。実はラウッサの身体には北欧神話の巨魔、世界の南のはてにある火焔界ムスペルヘイムの支配者SURTUR(スルト)の計り知れない力を吹き込まれていた。いわば生ける兵器のようなもの。それがマレキスが掴んでいた真実だった。アンジェラの兄であるThorはラウッサの奪還を試みるが、アンジェラはかつてヘヴンに電力を供給していた休眠中の炉にラウッサを投げ込む。そこにまだ燃え盛っていた業火でその身を焼かれたラウッサであったが、そのことでその身体に住まうスルトを追い出すことができた。これにより、ヘヴンは永遠の火が燃える炉を得ることとなり、アンジェラはかつて自身の命を救い、彼女を天使として育ててくれた地"The 10th Realm(第10レルム)"に恩恵をもたらすことが出来た。永遠の火が燃える炉の中からラウッサを救い出す際に全身に大火傷を負ったアンジェラだったが、その献身的な行為を見て、Odinは傷が癒えるまでアンジェラをアスガルドにて匿った。
但し、この事件によりアンジェラは「アスガルド人の裏切り者」という烙印を押されることとなる。傷が癒えたアンジェラは、この旅のなかで何かと不穏な行為をしていたセラに対して「貴女はセラではない。真実を話すか、これ以上何も言うな。」と問い質す。するとセラは真実の姿であるマレキスへと変貌した。この一件がマレキスの欺瞞であることを知ったアンジェラは、未だ投獄の身であるセラを救出するためにヘルへと出発した。
この続きは「Angela:Queen of Hel」にて描かれる。

「1602 Witch Hunter Angela」はパラレルワールド(Battle world)である1602年、ジェームス王が統治するイングランドを舞台に、AngelaとSeraが王国に蔓延る魔女(Witch)を狩るハンターとして活躍する姿を描いた、"Angela:Asgard's Assassin"の前日談のような物語である。但し、ここで登場するAngelaは変容して「ファウストの女王」となり、「ANGELA:QUEEN OF HEL」にてAngelaの前に登場することとなります。

Yotatの攻撃を受けてDraxは地面に倒れた。止めを刺すため、Yotatが斧を振りかぶった時に電と共にAngelaが現れる。電はYotatを襲い、彼はおもわず斧から手を放してしまう。その隙をDraxは見逃さず、Yotatへ攻撃を仕掛けた。Draxの求めに応じてAngelaはハンマーを振りかぶり、電を再度、Yotatへと見舞う。そこにNovaをリーダーとするNova corpsが現れた。Nova corpsはYotatの身柄を確保するとその場を去っていく。残されたAngelaはGamoraに対して、こうなることが分かっていたのになぜ、Knowhereを立ち去ったのかを問い質す。Gamolaはこの会話に意味は無いと言う。Angelaはこの話をしないと先に進めないわと言う。GamoraはAngelaとは信念自体が違っていると言う。
Gamoraが言うにはAngelaはDoomが神であると信じている。Angela:あなたにとっては違うの?
GamoraはDoomに対する冒涜は罰せられる犯罪であることを理解している。AngelaはGamolaに対して行為を持ち続けているのが不思議だった。彼女が見せる反抗を目にしても正しさとともに愛しさも感じている。GamoraもAngelaに対する尊敬の念を隠そうとしない。嘘は言える。でもその嘘はAngelaに対する尊敬の念に値しない。KnowhereはDoomの息がかかっている場所。AngeraはGamolaがこのKnowhereに住み続けることが彼女への疑いの気持ちを抱いてしまう。AngelaはGamoraが物理的世界、現実を否定している、現実を否定することは狂気だ、いろんな意味で、と言う。だが、Gamraは自分の宇宙の力はそれを見通す視点を自分に与えてくれると思っている。Angelaが何を見通すの?と聞くと、Gamoraはこの錯覚よと答える。AngelaはGamoraが自らの罰のためにDoomstadtの評議会に出席しなければいけないし、自分はGamoraをそこに連れて行かなければならない。それはGamoraも分かっていた。AngelaはGamolaが少しでも理由を言ってくれれば、彼女の言葉を検討するためにこの場を立ち去ることも出来ると言う。私たちの王であり救世主のDoomについて賢明に話してほしいと乞う。でもGamoraは出来ないと言う。Angelaは、Doomが私たちの王でなく、あなたが彼の寛大さの外で生きていないと言うのなら、それについて話してとGamoraに問うが、Gamoraは応じない。Angelaの我慢は限界だった。AngelaはGamoraに、それならばあなたは冒涜の罰を受けなければならず、運命があなたの魂に慈悲を与えますようにと言いながらハンマーを振りかぶった。ハンマーから電が走り、AngelaとGamoraは戦いを始まる。GamoraはAngelaに自分が何故、戦っているのか、あなたは分かっていないと言う。自分自身に対して考えるんだ。自分自身で決定するんだ。だが、Angelaは何のために? Instead she was raised as the leader of the hunt in Heven, which is where she met me. I'm Sera, I'm sure you recall. I'm the Gabrielle to her Xena, except we make out more. (On screen, Anyway) Anyway in the middle of a fight scene that would beggar even the best CGI budget, I took a spear to something that should not have had a spear taken to it and got cast down into Hel with all the other dead angels -- who, fun fact, Hela keeps as slaves ik the afterlife as punishment for the whole " Supposedly murdering the infant princess of Asgard" thing. Angle and I had a little chat about how not to leave your loved ones stuck in the undereorld for Eons, and as a nice "We're getting back together" present, I showed her the way out -- If she conquers other angels will at last be free. Aw, Yes. and how did I learn all this? I had a spy on the inside -- Leah of Hel, Hand maiden to the very godness we are Hel-bent on overthoeing.
Helの迷宮で SeraはAngelaにLeah of Helを紹介する。切り取られたHelaの腕から擬人化した、Helaの侍女。Leahは「死者の女王を倒すために、Helの3つの試練を試みることとなる。」と言う。彼女はHelaから生み出された者である以上、複雑な立場だ。それを感じたAngelaは怒りを露わにするが、Seraが宥める。Seraは死後、Helaの元にいた際には緊張の連続だった。HelaはSeraを手で叩き、Seraは魔術を少しだけ使ってその痣を消していた。Helaに感謝の意を表しながら。そこにHelaの刺客が現れる。３人は臨戦態勢を取った。

Helaの玉座の間にて TyrとBalderは玉座の間にある鏡に映し出されていたAngelaの姿を見ていた。我らが母のFreyjaは彼女のことについて話をしていなかった。Freyjaは部屋に籠り、Thorは嘆いている。二人が彼女をどうすべきか話をしていると、Skurgeが現れて「Helaは保護しなければならない。」と告げる。

Helの迷宮にて Angela達はHelaの刺客との闘いのなかで、既に一度通った道に戻ってきてしまっていた。Seraが魔術を使ってゲートを開く。

Hevenの女王の宮殿。ここはAngelaの過去の世界。彼女はQueenの侍女に育てられた。Hunterとして育てられたなかで、初めて手にかけたのがMeresynだった。その過去の世界から戻ってきたAngela達はHelaによって奴隷にされた天使たちが集う場所に辿り着く。Seraが天使たちに「解放しに来た。」と告げるが、天使たちはAngelaは天使ではなくアスガルド人だと叫ぶ。救いなどないと。するとそこにはAngelaが手にかけたMeresynもいた。「お前に彼らを救うことなど出来ない。」MeresynはAngelaに対して剣を振りかぶる。二人の死闘は続くが、Angelaのほうが勝っていた。そしてMeresynに負けを認めさせる。天使たちは「Queenを狩る者のために!」と声を上げた。 だが、そこにTyrとBalder、Skurgeが現れる。

My darling strawberry tallcake ("Angela" to you) was an Asgardian princess, stolen as an infant and raised among the angels of Heven. She rose through the ranks, became leader of the hunt --
-- and met me, Sera, scrceress, sassbasket, and ex-anchorite on the run. We danced, We kissed, We killed monsters for hire -- and when I got axed and sent to Hel, Angela came after me. I will say, she took her sweet time -- turns out no one knew angels even got an afterlife, but in the great beyond, we're forced to serve Hela, the Erstwhile Queen of the dead. But I got my baby back, and the sky (and the world of living) is the limit. Rebellions usually need, you know,Rebels, so we took to the slave pits where the other dead angels were imprisoned. One completely reasonable and decorous discussion about identity politics vs. Slave rebellions in her later -- We're got ourselves an army. Minor hitch -- turns out aside from the whole "Enslaving a race of mercenaries" Hela is an inexplicably popular Queen of the dead, and now her boy band (feat. Tyr, Balder, and skurge the executioner) is in hot pursuit. Time for the fight scene!
Helにある、天使の奴隷収容場にて Seraは魔術を振るうが、SkrugeがAngelaの顔を殴りつける。Skrugeは言う。「もし、お前が間違ったことをするなら、お前に抵抗する力があることを知っているか?」Angelaは答える。「私は愛で飼い慣らされることができる餓えた動物などではない。」Angelaは義兄弟であるTyr、Balder、Skrugeに「私は姉妹などではない。」と言い放ち、剣を振るった。Tyr達を倒したAngelaの前に、Odinの父であり、かつてはAsgardの王であったBor Burisonが現れ、死者の軍団を召喚する。AngelaはBorと剣を突き合わすが、Angelaの執念が勝っていた。AngelaはBorを崖から蹴り落とす。
ここまでが２つ目の試練。最後に３つ目の試練であるHelaの軍団が現れる。Meresynも加わり、Angela、Sera、Leahは軍団を迎え撃つ。最初は恐怖、２つ目はカオス、そして３つ目の試練。 Angelaは暗い過去を歩いてきた。そして今、Seraを取り戻した。何千年の時が過ぎたか。奴隷にされていた天使たちはThe Hunter Queenを称え、声を上げていた。 そして最後の敵Helaが登場する。

So with a sexy sorceress girlfriend, a moody interdimensional teenage daughther named Leah, a talking homicidal helhound, and a mounting pile of bills. (Seriously, what is going on in Brooklin? What's our serson four big bad -- Gentrification?!), What's an Asgardian princess turned angelic assassin to do? The answer is:We have no idea. (But since Thor's on the cover, I'm sure we'll all be very excited to find out.)
現代のNew York City AngelaとSeraとLeahは家具センターのIKEAで買い物をしていた。住まいでは３人の楽しい生活を送っていた。Seraは作曲家のLin-Manuel Mirandaの曲にぞっこんだった。お金はHelの金庫から受け取っていた。Seraは自分たちはスーパーひーろーじゃない、傭兵よと言う。楽し気なSeraと違って、Leahは何か不安を感じていた。このままでいいのか。Leahは魔術の修練も、ポップカルチャーの教育もたのしんでいなかった。Seraに軽蔑されるような、王位を奪われた女王になりたいとも思わない。自分は女王に仕えていたが、自分が選ぶ女王はそれまでの女王とは違う。 Leahが気分転換で、セントラル・パークを散歩をしていると、人に鳥が群がり、連れ去られそうになるのを目撃する。何か、変だ。 AngelaとSeraは2人でラーメン屋に来ていた。そこにLeahが合流する。すると客の男が店員に文句を言い出した。するとAngelaのラーメンの麺が宙に浮かびだし、化け物と化す。その化け物は客の男を飲み込んだ。Angelaは剣を振るい、その化け物を倒す。Leahが飼っているHelの犬が麺を飲み込んだ。客の男は死んでいた。

成層圏ではMighty Thorが空を飛んでいた。そしてAngela達がいるラーメン屋へと着地する。彼女は死と生のバランスを崩した３人の傭兵を追ってきたのだ。AngelaとMighty Thorとの闘いが始まる。Angelaは客の男を殺してはいないと言うが、Mighty Thorは攻撃を緩めない。だが、Seraが魔術を使い、二人の戦いを止める。

セントラル・パークでは舞台が演じられていた。すると観客の男の携帯電話に無数のとんぼが群がる。無数のとんぼは男を空中へと運び上げた。

Angela達とMighty Thorはおかしな事件が続いていることを不審に思っていた。Seraには思い当たることがあった。それは「Serah」の存在。Serahは彼女にとっては別の次元の存在。彼女なら戻ってきて、未来の時と場所にある妖精たちからAngelaを救いに来ることができるかもしれない。その不安は的中しなかったが、全く外れてもいなかった。Angela達の前に現れたのは、別次元のAngela。ファウストの女王と化した別次元のAngelaだった。

Some Secret War comic book science later, our timelines have smashed, and the Faerie Queen, now called Faustia, has her sights set on New York City. 宇宙の深層での四年目 Angela、Sera、LeahはThe Guardians of the Galaxyの面々と再会を果たしていた。

New Yorkでの五年目 冬のNew Yorkでは雪が舞い降りていた。LeahはLokiと再会を果たしていた。だが、Leahが知っているLokiとは少し違っていた。だが、LeahもLokiも同じ異端者。

The Asgardians tracked Nebula to chandilar, the throneworld of the Shi'ar Empire, where she had unleashed a horde of undead Asgardians gods to battle GLADIATOR and the IMPERIAL GUARD. The Guard were overrun, and the Asgardians didn't prove to be much help - Nebula escaped once again, and an undead god tore apart the Destroyer, revealing Kid Loki to his teammates. Before they could confront him, the Nova Corps arrived...
...and put the entire team under arrest.

Wthey searched for their ship, the Asgard's Reach, Lid Loki - after sowing a little chaos with Annabelle Riggs and a Nova helmet - teleported to Earth to warn his brother Thor of Nebula's imminent arrival.

Intending to bring about Ragnarok, space pirate Nebula stole an ancient beacon that calls forth the NAGLFAR ARMADA, an army of soulless gods. To get it back, KID LOKI- A shadow of the "true" Loki - made a bargain with Thor's sister ANGELA:For her help leading a team of Asgardians against Nebula, Loki promised to help her find her ex-girlfriend SERA, who mysteriously disappeared months ago.

The Asgardians were successful, and Thor entrusted Angela with the Naglfar Beacon. Hoping to stash the beacon for safekeeping and make good on his bargain with Angela, Loki brought the Asgardians to a planet in deep space, where they found Sera fighting alongside YONDU and his RAVAGERS to protect a group of alien refugees. Angela and her team joined forces with them against the refugees' tormentors, the RAIDERS. But they are not the only enemy - the planet itself has begun attacking everyone on its surface. Because of cource Loki neglected to inform his teammates of one minor detail: This mysterious location is none other than EGO THE LIVING PLANET.

For Angela, the battle has a personal stake: Malekith has a allied with the Queen of Angels, the woman who kidnapped Angela at birth and ordered her death. 時は19世紀の終わり頃。
モルガン婦人の真夏の大舞踏会。それはロンドン社交期において最も有名で、誰もが知っている秘密。
多くの紳士・淑女が集うなか、Kildareも舞踏会に訪れていた。

その頃、町ではピーター・トラム博士の見世物小屋が開演していた。奇人を紹介するその見世物で、鎖に繋がれた女性が登場する。
「彼女の本当の名前は発音しがたく、私は彼女のことを簡単にAngelaと呼んでいる。」
ピーター博士はそう、紹介した。
公演が終了すると彼女は牢屋へと連れていかれた。暗い牢屋に閉じ込められた彼女が何を感じていたか想像だにしない。かつて誇り高き天界の戦士であった。暗闇のなか、怒りが沸き上がり、ここからの脱獄を思い浮かべる。彼女達天界の戦士の誇りは我々の想像を超えていた。

人狼であるZephon伯爵はオオカミの姿で狩りを楽しんでいた。そして彼が屋敷に戻った時、Kildareが訪れた。
Kildareは天使についての情報を聞きにZephon伯爵を訪ねたのだった。

情報を得たKildareは見世物小屋を訪れ、魔法で店員たちを眠らせた。そしてAngelaがいる牢屋の鍵を開ける。だがそこでピーター博士に見つかってしまう。

Lady Kildareは妖精界の王女である。The Pugなどの妖精界の仲間と一緒に人間界に住んでいる。
「ARIA」はJay Anacletoの画風が印象的なコミックス。1999～2003年にかけて本作を入れて５作品が製作された。

Angelaの設定は「SPAWN」と同じく天界の戦士。遠い惑星でドラゴン狩りをしている際に戦いをしくじり、地球に飛ばされてしまう。そして意識を失っている時にペテン師(原文:some wandering charlatan)に見つかってしまったという設定になっている。
見世物小屋の牢屋に囚われていたAngelaを救いに来たKildare。だがピーター博士に見つかってしまう。
そこに巨大なオオカミ男が現れて二人を助ける。それはZephon伯爵だった。
「博士、天界の戦士を対する侮辱のつけは自分で払うようになるわ。」 Kildareはそう呟いた。
Zephon伯爵の隠れ家に着いたKildareはAngelaを休ませた。だがAngelaは氷のように冷たかった。
「私を神聖な場所に連れて行って」 Angelaとそう言った。
KildareたちはAngelaを教会へと連れていく。すると光がAngelaの身体を包み、天使の姿は取り戻した。
「彼はどこ！」　Angelaの心は自分の受けた屈辱への復讐に満ち溢れていた。
そこに高らかな笑い声とともにピーター博士が現れた。彼は魔界の力を手にしていた。

するとKildareは魔法を使い、二人を妖精界へと連れて行った。
Angelaはまだ博士に襲いかかろうとするが、Kildareが制した。
「ここは妖精界。博士、あなたは地上界では悪夢のような存在だったけど、ここではその力は使えないわ」
ピーター博士が力を失ったのを見届けたKildareはAngelaを連れてZephon伯爵の元へ戻ってきた。
「無礼で愚かな老博士は退治したわ。あなたは天使の姿が一番似合っているわ」 KildareはAngelaにそう声をかけた。
